New blog beginnings

In mid-2003 I began blogging - which was likely about the same time as Al Gore hit his stride. At the time, the new kid on the block was Typepad and I dove in enthusiastically and then later became more of an occasional blogger. Besides a lack of focus on publishing my thoughts and taking time to write, I never quite felt like I mastered the art of tricking out my blog. I yearned for a full-blown Wordpress ride.

Well, with the rollout of Wordpress 2.1 recently and the helping hand of a friend, I’ve been converted. Now, all of the swanky plug-ins are at my disposal and work “as advertised.”

So, no more excuses, this is my new home on the web. I enjoy sharing ideas and opinions on web apps, social media, technology, and startups. Sprinkled throughout you may also see posts on green things (architecture, technology, energy) and observations on consumer products.
