I’ve been called a dreamer, iconoclast, troublemaker and worse. I tend to follow my instincts and have a persistent streak that has paid off enough times that I’ve learned to keep on trucking when things get tough.
As a child, I lived a Tom Sawyer lifestyle; navigating our bayou in a pirogue with BB gun in hand — yes I grew up in Louisiana! While there aren’t as many dirt trails these days for riding motorcycles and such in town, I’m trying to convince my kids there’s more to life than TV and video games.
I’ve been addicted to technology since the days of leafing through Popular Science and getting my first computer (saying which model it was would date me too much!). I’ve worked with mobile applications, wireless data networks, RFID, and generally enjoy applying new technologies to make everyday life easier and/or more fun.
I’m the founder and CEO of Corazón Labs, a social applications company. We build social applications to engage people in self-improvement, competition and fun.
